The Sacred Sciences open our awareness to spiritual truths and helps to broaden our understanding of life. The shapes of the platonic solids talk to us about the basic building blocks of life – the elements. The shapes of the Vesica Pisces hold the holy secrets of the Trinity. And it is little wonder that the symbols of all life are held within the shape of the six pointed star.

A Retreat to still the mind and body and so connect to our centre within. This then allows the recognition and awareness of our one-ness with nature, the elementals, each other, realms of spirit etc. As a result, we become more effective in our work for the Light. There will be plenty of free time to simply ‘be’ in the tranquil, beautiful Star Temple and surrounds at Willomee. Stillness and simplicity are the keynotes for the week, with time to dream, sit, gaze, walk, read, attune to others, and receive healing. This year we bring you a new retreat based on lessons from the School of Wisdom, which are so appropriate in this Age of Aquarius. On this retreat we will be learning what the ancient square Pyramid can teach us, and then understand how to apply these teachings in our daily lives: the wisdom, love and power aspects which we experience in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. By becoming more aware of these aspects within ourselves, we are better able to prepare for the path ahead by becoming stronger on all levels.

Already the participants of 2008 Youth Camp are hounding us ‘When is the next camp?’ Join us for a fun, energised, warm-hearted and spiritually nourishing four days. We extend a special welcome to families with children of all ages. This year we will ask you to bring along your camping equipment, as we set up camp on the lawns behind the temple at Maleny.
Our camp theme in 2009 is “Celebrate life – being one with nature and our animal friends.” In our program this year, we will experience the joys of living through the gifts of our beautiful planet and the animal and nature kingdoms. Our exciting and fun mix of art and craft, singing and dancing, nature walks, games, meditation, emotional and physical empowering life skills, will bring us closer to loving and understanding this beautiful world we live in.
Family camp is a lovely way both for friends and families to come together in the uplifting surroundings of the Temple and for newcomers to the Lodge to really feel the essence of White Eagle’s teachings.

The Indigenous People of our land Australia have carried a long tradition of conscious connection to the Earth. Their spiritual heritage has sustained them and given meaning to every aspect of their lives. Through our daily meditation we will be journeying deep into our inner most being and touching the heart of our creation – God, the pure light of our spirit. Having touched that pure centre we then need to be able to express this light in our daily lives. To reinforce our inner experience we will be creating our own personal labyrinth and physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually walking the labyrinth into the inner sanctum and perambulating the essence into our everyday life. Creating our own songs, poetry, mandala or mask will be part of this creative expression of your inner self.

Platonic Solids are known as the building blocks of the 3 dimensional universe. During each of these days we will take one Platonic Solid and seek to gain a greater understanding of its shape, colour and relationship to life. Like all Sacred Sciences, these are just tools used to teach the student of life a deeper understanding of themselves and others and the soul initiations. Like the old axiom on the Temple of old. ‘Man Know Thyself and Thou Shalt Know God and the Universe’ - we could say People Know the Platonic Solids and You Shall Know the Elements Within and Without and in this you shall know God and The Universe. Gradually we will see that these wonderful solids all come from the shape of the 6 pointed Star and we will gain a deep appreciation of this amazing symbol given to us to use by the Master R.

This day is designed for absolute beginners in the Science of Astrology. We shall be looking at the horoscope, touching on the Ascendant, the Houses and the Planets. The day is designed as a fun peek into our charts to gain a little more understanding of how we are inwardly constructed and what we have come to learn in this incarnation.

BRISBANE – Saturday 14th March
We will explore White Eagle?s wisdom on the voice and sound. We will engage gentle techniques on using the ancient and sacred sound of the great ?OM? and other mantra?s.
When we learn to withdraw from the noise and bustle of the outer world, we can make contact with the Angels of Healing. By working with the Angels of the coloured rays healing is possible. White Eagle’s teachings teach us how to “Send out the Light” which in turn heals ourselves and all life. Through meditation and contemplation we will learn to enter the temple of healing and attune ourselves so that we may consciously work with these great beings to heal ourselves and the planet.

Buddha taught the Power of Peace, how to meditate and how to attune to the cosmos of all life. Through meditation and White Eagle’s teachings we will be able to touch that powerful place of peace within us. Sound is all around, everything vibrates and sounds its own note. With soul soothing music, meditation and chanting we will connect with the beautiful Angels of Sound which may teach us to listen and help us to sound our own true note.
