In all things be Temperate

Be wise; keep your poise.  The spiritual life must be balanced by the practical; for the aspirant, through his mastery over practical affairs, must manifest the wisdom, the harmony and the tranquillity of God’s spirit.  You are not here to dream your life away, but to beautify life and to enjoy all the gifts which God gives you.  The well-balanced man or woman, seeking to glorify God, will so use his life as to be happy himself and to make others happy.  Follow the Son, the light in your heart, the voice of Christ, which is gentle, not arrogant.
